With a growing focus on sustainability across the built environment, the importance of reducing environmental footprint has never been more relevant for strata communities. While many buildings have taken initial steps, it became clear that most were only scratching the surface of what is truly possible.
The founders of The Core Group and Solutions in Engineering recognised this early. Through years of direct involvement in strata and building services, a consistent theme emerged; sustainability efforts were often limited to basic initiatives, without a clear strategy or understanding of broader opportunities.
Driven by a shared passion for sustainability and a desire to create meaningful change, the two groups came together with a unified vision. At the same time, there was a growing appetite from owners and committees who wanted to do more, but needed the right guidance and structure to move forward with confidence.
Urban Sustainability was created to bridge that gap.
